2019 People's Choice Award went to:
A new category is now added to this Annual and very popular Exhibition: Youth Section.
The Courtyard Gallery invites all local artists to exhibit in this open Exhibition. Paintings, drawings & three dimensional items will be considered. All items must be properly framed or finished, wire hangers only. Art pieces are to be no larger than 16x20, 3D art to be of a similar size. No reproductions.
Applications must be in by September 18th.
Drop off—September 28th, 10am to 4pm
Pick Up—November 2nd, 4pm.
There will be a $10 entry fee and you must be a member of the Enderby Artists' Initiative for a fee of $20 annual membership fee. (Those who have already paid their supporting membership for 2019
do not have to pay again).
There is a separate category for Young Artists 14 to 20 years, for which there is no membership requirement. The fee is $5.

Courtyard Gallery is accepting applications from committed artists and artisans who are interested in becoming “gallery artists”. All pieces must be the original, hand-produced work of the artists, and members are chosen for originality and diversity of their work.
In exchange for a monthly membership fee, your work will be exhibited in the gallery. We charge a small commission fee of 20% and we all work co-operatively to run the gallery.

Valerie Rogers joins some of Canada's most prestigious nature artists featured in Ducks Unlimited Canada’s (DUC) 2018 National Art Portfolio. By donating her artwork to DUC, Rogers is helping raise important funds for wetland conservation. One of her paintings was chosen by Ducks Unlimited.
Dawn Scott's painting “Beach Perspective” was awarded first prize in the Federation of Canadian Artists North Okanagan Chapter show at the Vernon Public Art Gallery in October.
Terry Greenhough received an award of excellence for his painting “Sockeye Struggle for Life” in the Federation of Canadian Artists Thompson Chapter show September through October in Kamloops.

Our featured artist for May is Kenn Whyte.
Kenn and his wife Yvonne moved to Enderby in November 2014. Previous to 2014 they lived in Northwestern BC for 25 years. Prior to that Kenn has lived in the Yukon, Churchill Manitoba, Oregon and Saskatchewan.
Kenn and Yvonne have travelled extensively with trips to the Arctic, Scandinavia, Africa, Asia, and South America with the emphasis on outdoor activities including hiking, photography and wildlife viewing. In recent years …
